The story of Teri Meri Kahaani starts in 1960 in Bombay with Govind and Ruksar, then moves ahead to 2012 England with Radha and Krish and then goes back in time to Punjab in 1910 with Aradhana and Javed.
Sajid-Wajid is the music composer of the film with lyricist Prasoon Joshi. Wajid, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika Singh, Shreya Ghoshal & Shaan has contributed as singers.
